Ms. Rekha Nair Director B.Sc. (Chemistry) , MCA |
Ms. Rekha Nair is a person with high academic and research orientation in the field of Computer Applications. A graduate in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, she successfully completed her Masters in Computer Applications from Rollwala Computer Center, Ahmedabad.
Her flair and inclination towards education brought her into the academia. She has been in the academia for the past ten years. She started her career as an Academic Associate in the Computer Informations Systems Group at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA). Later, she joined S.K.Patel Institute of Management and Computer Applications, Gandhinagar. She has been with NICM since February 2002.
Ms. Nair’s academic work is primarily in the areas of Systems Analysis and Design, Client-Server Architecture & Interfaces and Software Engineering. She has also taught Object Oriented Programming, Computer Based Information Systems, DataBase Management Systems, Computer Oriented Numerical Methods, Multimedia Systems, Operations Research, Management, Managerial Economics and Software Project Management. Her research interests include Software Engineering, Software Testing, Web Engineering, Data Mining, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.

Mr. Prashant Pittalia Assistant Professor M.Sc. (Physics), MCA |
Mr. Prashant Pittalia has been associated with NICM since the commencement of the MCA program in 2001. He is a Science Post Graduate in Physics from Gujarat University, has also obtained his Masters Degree in Computer Application from Gujarat Vidyapith.
He is pursuing Ph.D. on E-Commerce Security. He has presented three-research papers in National Level Conference organized at CSI-Surat Branch in 2006. He is an in charge of Placement Committee at the MCA program. He also gives guidelines to the students during their project work. He firmly believes that the development of the students would eventually lead to progress of the institute. He has taught various subjects like Fundamental Of Programming, Fundamental of Computer Organization, Networking Technologies, Data & File Structure, Database Management Systems and Socket Programming. His areas of interest are in the fields of E-commerce security, Object Oriented Analysis and Design and Web Technologies.

Ms. Hetal Desai Assistant Professor B.Sc. (Physics) , MCA |
Ms. Hetal Desai, working as a Reader at NICM, is been associated with NICM since 2004, joined as a Lecturer. Being an MCA, during her professional career, she has performed variety of roles including Programmer, Lecturer, Head of the Department, and Reader. She has developed and guided numerous Software Projects like Library Management System, Employee Integrated Information System, Students Information Management, Online Shopping and Job Seeker Web Application for Students, involving various technologies like Visual Basic, Java, ASP and ASP.Net, Oracle, SQL Server etc. She has imparted her knowledge in Programming in C & C++, Object Oriented Concepts, Database Management Systems, Data Communications & Networking, Data & File Structures, Client Server Architectures, Management Information Systems, Web Technologies, Fundamentals Of Computer Organization, Computer Based Management Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Office Automation Tools.
She is a member of Computer Society of India and attended Workshops on Network Automation Management and .NET. She has also presented a paper on “Basics Of Artificial Neural Networks†at a National Conference held at Engineering College, Ajmer in 2007.

Dr. Devarshi Mehta Assistant Professor B.Sc. (Physics), MCA, Ph.D |
Dr. Devarshi Mehta, a science graduate in Physics and completed M.C.A., Ph.D. (Computer Science) in Bioinformatics. She has 9+ years of experience out of which 2 years in Software Development with Cosmic Infonet Solutions, Ahmedabad and 7 years in teaching. She worked as a Head Of The Department (BCA) with NPCCSM, Kadi and joined NICM in Jun 2005 as a Lecturer.
During her research work she has contributed in 22 research papers in various International, National conferences of computer science and state level medical conference. During research she has developed module, which is recognized by various bio-researchers and IT professionals. Her research paper on “Data Mining†has been awarded by Second Rank at National conference, CSI - Surat branch in 2006. She has participated in Hands on Workshop on Redhat Linux Networking / System Administration at CSI-GLS branch and .NET workshop organized by NICM during 2007.
She has imparted her best knowledge as an Expert in Refresher Course, Bioinformatics Department of Gujarat University. She is also involved in Expert Committee of National conference. She is guiding a student of M.Phil. for Madurai Kamaraj University. She has taught various subjects like: Data and File Structure, Client Server Architecture and Interfaces, Networking, Computer Based Management Systems, Basic Microcomputer Applications. Her areas of interest are Bioinformatics, Neural network, High Performance Computing, Data mining, Telemedicine, .NET Technologies and Linux administration.

Ms. Ankita Dwivedi Lecturer B.Sc. (Chemistry, BioChem.), MCA |
Mrs. Ankita S. Dwivedi has completed her M.C.A. from Gujarat Vidyapith with First class in 2003. She has done her double graduation in Biochemistry and Chemistry as well from Gujarat University. She has developed various applications in her tenure like “Automated Graphics and Data Display System†for Doordarshan Kendra in VC++ & RTX.
She started her teaching career at K.S. School of Business Management (M.Sc.(IT)) and B.C.A. at G.L.S. where had good experience teaching C-language, Computer System Architecture and Management Information System.
She joined NICM as a Lecturer – Cum – Programmer in 2004. During this period she taught subjects like Matrix Algebra and Graph theory, Computer based Management System – I,II, DOS, Fundamentals of Computer Programming, Computer Graphics, System Analysis and Design. She has also guided projects to various students in their academic Career. Her areas of interests are CG, Bio-Informatics and loves teaching Computer languages.

Ms. Archana Nair is a GOLDMEDALIST in M.Sc. (Mathematics) from Gujarat University for securing first rank with distinction for the year 2002. She was also awarded Goldmedal by the Mathematics Department of Gujarat University for the same year. She has studied throughout in English medium. She was the top scorer in B.Sc. Mathematics in St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. Initially, she was a visiting faculty in C.U.Shah Science College, Ahmedabad for about an year. As a visiting faculty she worked in Govt. Engg. College, Gandhinagar and also in Institute of Aeronautical Engg. and Technology, Ahmedabad, before joining NICM. She has been working with NICM since June 2005 as lecturer cum programmer in MCA. She imparts her knowledge in subjects like Discrete Mathematical Structures, Computer Oriented Statistical Methods, Matrix Algebra and Graph Theory, Computer Based Optimization Models and Computer Oriented Numerical Methods.

She has completed B. E. in computer science from L. D. Engineering College with distinction. She is having more than eight years of professional experience. She started her career at B.V.M. Engineering College. Since 1998 she is working with Gujarat University. She has imparted her knowledge at the very reputed institutes like SKPIMCS – Gandhinagar, AESICS – Ahmedabad in Gujarat University. Since 2005 she is working with NICM - Gandhinagar. She is very good in system programming and parallel processing. Her areas of interest are system programming, networking technology and clustering.
She has successfully taught the various subjects like Networking Technologies, Parallel Processing, Computer Graphics, Operating Systems, System Software, Data & File Structures, Computer organization and architecture, Compiler design, Assembly Programming, Shell Programming, C, C++ Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Matrix Algebra & Graph Theory.

Ms. Dolly Sansowa is a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and Masters in Computer Science and Applications. She has about thirteen years of experience in software development, System Management and training. Being an educator, she is self-aware and always seeking to learn and grow. Having good interpersonal skills, she works well with others, motivates and encourages the students. She has been associated with NICM as a core faculty teaching subjects like System Software, Parallel Computing and Object oriented Analysis and Methodologies.

Ms. Preeti Baser has completed MCA from Nirma Institute of Technology, A’ bad in 2004. She has also completed Master of Science with Mathematics as a special subject from Gujarat University in 2001. She has recently joined NICM, MCA Program on June 2007. She has worked as lecturer for last two years at NSVKMS BCA-MCA Programme, Visnagar. Her areas of teaching are Artificial Intelligence, Computer based management system,Operation Research, Discrete Mathematics, Numerical Methods. Her areas of interests are Computer Graphics, Parallel Processing, and Database Management System.

Mrs. Nisha Chauhan is Engineering Graduate in Computer Science from BirlaVishwakarma Mahavidhyalaya, VallabhVidyanagar since June, 2005. She has been working in the field of Information Technology having experience of more than four years. She has been involved with various Educational Institutions as a part of Professional Teacher including Mumbai Education Trust (Mumbai). She has joined us in July 2009 as a Lecturer.
During her tenure, she has shown her expertise in C Programming, Object oriented programming with C++, Java, C#.Net. She also possesses experience in teaching with Fundamentals of Digital Electronics and Data Structures.

Mrs. Pooja V. Chawla has completed B.E in Computer science from Hindu college of Engineering, Sonepat with First class in 2005. She is having more than 4 years of Teaching experience.
She started her career at Doon valley institute of engineering and technology, Karnal, Hariyana Later, She joined B.M Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sonepat, Hariyana. She has taught various subjects like Database management systems, Computer networks, Analysis and design of algorithms, Data structures, Object Oriented Programming using C++, Computer Architecture and Organization, System Programming and System Administration.
She has joined SJPI (NICM) in July 2009 as a core faculty. During this period she taught subjects like Software project management, System analysis and design, Theory of computation. Her areas of Interests are Object Oriented Programming, Data structures, Database Management Systems.

Ms. Vinita Nair is a science graduate in Biochemistry from C.U Shah Science College, Ahmedabad; she completed her Masters in Computer Applications from Gujarat University. She has 2 years experience of working in IT of which 1 year worked in Software Development with I-Link Infosoft (G) Pvt.Ltd, Ahmedabad and 1 year experience in teaching. She is associated with SJPI (NICM) since July 2009.
During her work with I-Link Infosoft (G) Pvt.Ltd, she has worked on various Microsoft technologies such as WPF, WCF, ASP.NET 3.5, and Silverlight 2.0. And had the opportunity to be a member of development group for a prestigious project with Mercedes. During that tenure she worked on some Live Applications: Trouble Ticket System, Expansions Manager, Expansions Manager Control Panel and Mercedes Web shop.
She has taught various subjects like Database Management System, Client-Server Architecture and Interfaces, Structured and Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology, Web Technologies.
